tesa® 60013 is a high adhesion paper packaging tape featuring a fiberglass reinforced paper backing with a silicone release coating and a solvent-free synthetic rubber adhesive system. The paper backing for tesa® 60013 is reinforced with a fiberglass scrim, making this product the perfect solution for those packaging applications where a secure seal is required. Moreover, tesa® 60013 synthetic rubber provides very strong adhesion and tack on a wide variety of carton qualities and is therefore ideal for the sealing of heavy-weight cartons. Thanks to its excellent adhesion and very agressive tack, a tamper evidence effect is achieved if this tape is removed from the cardboard.

tesa® 60400 is a bio-based packaging tape which is suitable for medium-weight packaging applications (15–30 kg). The backing material chosen for this tape is polylactide acid, also known as PLA. PLA is 100% made from renewable feedstocks such as corn starch, tapioca roots and sugarcane. The system adhesive used for this tape is a natural rubber with a natural-based resin. Thanks to the smart choice of raw materials and its outstanding design, tesa® 60400 is produced with a bio-carbon content of 98% and, consequently, a reduced carbon footprint.

tesa® 60408 is a paper-based packaging tape featuring a premium paper backing and a well-performing waterborne natural rubber adhesive. The paper backing of tesa® 60408 is made with paper from well-managed forests and other controlled sources. This premium paper backing is tear-resistant with a high tensile strength. Thanks to the silicone-free release coat, a very good pintability with all types of ink systems is secured (externally tested). The well-performing natural rubber adhesive system provides strong adhesion and a good initial tack on a wide variety of carton qualities. tesa® 60408 is the perfect solution for light- and medium-weight packaging applications (max. 20 kg) where a premium performance is required.

tesa® 60412 is a premium carton sealing tape for light and medium weight cartons providing high performance and contributing to sustainability. tesa® 60412 consists of a 70% recycled PET backing made from post consumer (PCR) waste and a versatile, industry proven water-based acrylic adhesive system. tesa® 60412 features a strong and puncture resistant backing and a temperature resistant adhesive, making this product the perfect solution for light and medium weight packaging application up to 30 kg. Thanks to the smooth, silent unwinding tesa® 60412 contributes to a good workplace environment. The backing is well printable with a multitude of ink systems.
